Born 1956, in La Tuque, Québec
Canada, Jacques Rivard has been making decorative
products with recycled glass for the last 10 years. He won prices
for "Best Contemporary
Craft" in Toronto (1994, 1996, 1997), Vancouver (1992, 1993)
and Montreal (1991). He
attended expositions in NewYork, Philadelphia, Rhinebeck, Colombus,
Toronto, Vancouver
and Montreal. He lived in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Val-David, QC
Canada and now lives in St-Luc de Vincennes, Québec
Canada. He received his Fine Arts Certificate from Université
du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Trois-Rivières,
Québec, Canada .Recipient of Quebec Council Individual
Project Grant (1998 and 2001).

Francine
Brunet is a former ballerina. After studying in Europe and
United states, she attented York University (B.F.A) in Toronto,
Canada. She opened her own school in Trois-Rivières, Québec,
Canada. After its closing, Francine started to work with Jacques
Rivard for "Vertige" as shop assistant concerning sales,
accounting and the distribution of the products (wrapping-shipping). |
